HRS UNITS | High efficiency electricity generation from biomass
Turboden has developed a range of new HRS models capable to deliver high electrical efficiency, and sizes ranging from 600 kW and reaching up to 11 MW for a single unit.
Turboden’s standard 12 HRS and 24 HRS (1.0 and 2.5 MW respectively) deliver an electric efficiency of around 24%, while at larger sizes (>5MW) HRS units can reach an electric efficiency of up to 27%.
HRS models can operate both in dissipative condition -maximizing the electrical output-, and in cogeneration mode -providing heat with water temperature up to 60° C-, adapting to seasonal thermal loads and effectively maximizing the utilization of the biomass.
