Turboden ORC based power plants produce electric and thermal power from biomass with high efficiency and simple operation. Turboden ORCs are the market leading option for biomass power plants up to 10MW. As of 2014, there are 228 biomass power plants based on Turboden’s ORC units.

Turboden’s ORC turbogenerators are designed to generate electric power efficiently and sustainably from low to medium enthalpy geothermal resources with water temperatures ranging between 90° C -200°C. Turboden ORC systems are able to utilize geothermal resources where electricity generation is neither technically nor economically feasible with conventional steam cycle based plants.

Turboden ORC can produce electricity by recovering heat from industrial processes, reciprocating engines and gas turbines. The power of Turboden units generally ranges between 200 kW and 15 MW electric.

Turboden units convert the heat collected by solar collectors into electricity through an efficient thermodynamic cycle. Combined with Concentrating Solar Power systems, Turboden ORC-based plants can be cost-effective in the range between 200 kW and 15 MW electric.
